重美术馆筹建于2021年，坐落于北京石景山区的北重科技文化产业园区内，由华诚博远工程技术集团有限公司全资创办，是北京石景山区的第一座新生的民营美术馆。
重美术馆集展览、收藏、研究、公共教育、国际交流功能于一体，旨在为观众提供拥有全球化视野、多元化体验的艺术展览、研究和公共文化活动。
重美术馆秉持链接公众与当代文化的办馆理念，主动承担在公共文化服务、社会美育建设上的职能职责，通过丰富多元的展览和公共教育活动，构建一个充满活力的公共文化空间，助力新时代北京精神文明新风建设。
Established in 2021, the Gravity Art Museum was located in the Beizhong Industrial Park in Shijingshan District, Beijing, and is wholly owned by Huachengboyuan Engineering Technology Group.
It is the first private art museum in Shijingshan District, Beijing. The museum integrates the functions of exhibition, collection, research, public education, and international exchange. It aims to provide art exhibitions, research and public cultural activities with a global perspective and diversified experiences.
Adhering to the philosophy of linking the public with contemporary culture, the museum takes the initiative to undertake its functions and responsibilities in the construction of public cultural services and social aesthetics and builds a vibrant public cultural space through rich and diversified exhibitions and public education activities, helping to build a new style of spiritual civilization in Beijing for the new era.
