前言 Introduction:

拾萬空间(北京)非常荣幸地带来艺术家梁姝妮的个展:悸动的肠道。本次展览分为两部分展开,一楼的空间呈现的是艺术家二十三件雕塑装置,二楼展厅则集中展示她的二十一件架上绘画作品。展览将于2024年9月14日开幕。

梁姝妮的创作一直从身体以及随之带来的切身感受和具体经验出发,进而去传递一种自内而外的小心试探的动机,并伸展出一种向外触摸的动作,最终尝试建立起对外部世界的生命感知。在普遍的意义上,身体是生命体的组织和结构,而在梁姝妮那里,身体不仅是体验生命的基础,同时还是与客观世界沟通的语言和渠道,因而在与外部环境不断交替的相互影响中,身体不断被放逐于自然环境、城市环境、生存环境以及情感环境的容器中,既抵触也依存——乃至身体与身体,也在不断尝试触摸、感受与窥探,最终,梁姝妮通过这一原始的途径感受和理解世界,身体也成为了她判断以及借由创作来描绘世界的第一生发地。

一楼展厅中的装置和雕塑便直击生命的缘起与死亡的遐想,那是骨与肉的诞生和消亡,一种生命从哪里来到哪里去的浪漫想象——锲入骨髓,又化归于事关宇宙万物的个人情感依托中。二楼的绘画作品则深入到具体的身体及局部结构与周围环境的关系,二者看似格格不入,但反映的恰是它们之间复杂、紧密乃至挣脱与依存的境遇,而艺术家的少数民族背景,她的性别以及细腻的情感和情绪,最终都化身于努力超脱现实又直逼身体感受的玄妙里……


Hunsand Space (Beijing) is honored to present the solo exhibition of artist Liang Shuni: " Inner Turmoil." This exhibition is divided into two parts: the ground floor showcases twenty-three sculptural installations by the artist, while the second-floor of space focuses on twenty-one of her paintings. The exhibition will open on September 14th, 2024.

Liang Shuni's work starts from the body and the personal sensations and concrete experiences it brings from herself, conveying a careful, internal exploration and extending to an outward gesture of touch, ultimately attempting to establish a sense of life perception towards the external world. In a general sense, the body is the organization and structure of living beings, but for Liang Shuni, the body is not only the foundation of experiencing life but also the language and channel for communicating with the objective world. Thus, in the continual interplay with the external environment, the body is repeatedly displaced into the containers of the natural, urban, survival, and emotional environments—both in conflict and in dependency. Even bodies interact, continuously attempting to touch, feel, and peek into each other. Ultimately, Liang Shuni perceives and understands the world through this primal path, with the body becoming the primary source from which she judges and portrays the world through her creations.

The installations and sculptures on the first floor directly address the origins of life and the musings of death, depicting the birth and demise of bone and flesh—a romantic imagination of where life comes from and where it goes—piercing into the marrow and transforming into a personal emotional reliance concerning the universe and all its beings. The paintings on the second floor delve into the relationship between specific bodily and partial structures and their surrounding environment. Although they seem incongruous, they reflect the complex, close, and even tumultuous interdependence between the two. The artist's ethnic background, gender, and nuanced emotions ultimately manifest in a quest to transcend reality while directly confronting bodily sensations in a profound manner…
