绘画是充满隐喻的舞台，徐琳琳将它当作容器和界面，去装载那些在生活中发生或存在于潜意识的幻像，去拓展生活的边缘。我们的呼吸，血液，思想，感觉，梦想等等是这个容器里的内容物。我们的容器里有哪些内容物取决于我们对生活的理解，对世界以及对我们自己的理解和认知。因此绘画不只是绘画，是一个内外力相互作用的反应场。探索内在与外在，自我与周遭，人类存在与这个世界的关系。徐琳琳的作品一方面是探索性的，一方面是叙述性的，他们并不存在于一个必须存在的空间里，他们是真实的、陈述性的、带着疑问的、充满想象的，是一个乌托邦的存在。混合了传统与现代世界、身份认同与社会格局、东西方的困境，以及我们作为个体的所处之处和应许之地。
Painting is a stage full of metaphors, and Xu Linlin uses it as a container and interface to contain the illusions that occur in life or exist in the subconscious, and to expand the edge of life. They do not exist in a space that must exist. They are real, declarative, questionable, and full of imagination. They are a utopia The presence.
