SIMULACRA 拟像将于2024年4月20日带来林枞（Lin Cong）个展「信息 INFORMATION」。林枞的创作通过将图像与颜料的功能漂移使绘画性产生震动，用"结构"提供了一个新的合理化空间。画面里的对仗关系不断将观者悬置其间，制造混淆的感官知觉。林枞的工作常游离于布面、反光材质、树脂或其他随机之物上，从中获取间性，使作品能构建出更巧妙的连接直接体验的通道。通过对此"象"产生的疑问，引导观者去往“看破相”的入口。

SIMULACRA is pleased to present「INFORMATION」, a solo show by Chinese artist Lin Cong, on April 20th. Lin Cong's creations drifting the functions of imagery and pigment, causing a tremor in painterliness, with "structure" providing a new space for rationalization. The use of antithetical relationships within the paintings continuously suspends the viewer, creating a sensation of perceptual confusion. Lin's work often drifts across canvases, reflective materials, resin, or other random objects, capturing the interstitial to forge subtler connections to direct experience. By questioning the "Image" produced, it guides viewers towards the threshold of "seeing through appearances."
