Based in Beijing and New York, Ink Studio aims to showcase the unique contribution of Chinese experimental ink painting to international contemporary art through carefully curated exhibition programs. Ink Studio exhibitions are supported by in-depth art criticism, academic exchanges, bilingual publishing in Chinese and English, and multimedia content. Ink Studio's projects include post-war and contemporary artists from China (Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong), South Korea, and Japan, including Bingyi, Zhang Yaohuang, Chen Haiyan, Cheng Yanping, Dai Guangyu, He Yunchang, Xiong Hui, Huang Zhiyang, Inoue Yi, Ma Wen, Zheng Guangxi, Kang Chunhui, Jin Zhongjiu, Li Ren, Lao Tongli, Li Jin, Li Huasheng, Lin Xianluo, Lin Yuxiang, Liu Dan, Peng Kanglong, Su Huangsheng, Tao Aimin, Zeng Jianying, Wei Bangyu, Wang Dongling, Wang Tiande, Wei Ligang, Xu Bing, Yang Jiechang and Zheng Chongbin will also exhibit multi-media works, including painting, calligraphy, sculpture, installation, performance, photography and video. Since its establishment in 2012, Ink Studio has been invited to participate in international art events such as the Armory Show in New York, Art Basel in Hong Kong, and the West Bund Art and Design Fair in Shanghai. Its represented works have been exhibited by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Friel and Sack. It is collected by public institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Brooklyn Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, and the M+ Museum in Hong Kong.
