卓福民个展《无界》将在SGA沪申画廊举行，展期为2023年10月17日至11月26日。此次展览艺术品销售所得艺术家部分将捐赠上海慈善基金会卓然专项基金等公益机构。本次展览将呈现卓福民跨越四十余年的近四十幅重要作品，
卓福民的艺术人生是个传奇，也是中国社会风雷激荡的一个典型个案与时代缩影，很好地折射中国这几十年来改革开放、经济发展、文化繁荣、以及社会沧桑巨变的时代画卷。
卓福民的绘画，充满着磅礴的激情和鲜活的生命力，色彩的恣意挥洒，语言的尽情释放，以及气韵的流动洒脱，展现了他的艺术灵性和才华。他的画时而生机盎然，时而凝重深沉，就像他波澜起伏的人生写照，他对绘画的独特认知和创造，正在书写他新的艺术人生，成为社会景观的新的个案。
卓福民自小习画，正规严格的训练让他具有扎实的基本功，在造型及色彩的规则中游刃有余。在岁月洗礼中，他的人生轨迹一次次的发生着变化，他将艺术的思维运用到自己的事业中去，完成了跨界的转化，而这种转化又为他的艺术创作提供了丰富的素材与灵感，最终他不再拘泥于传统绘画的限制，逐步打破了绘画的边界，使自己的艺术语言更加生动立体。
本次展览主要展示卓福民作为艺术家近年创作的作品，同时也是他艺术人生的一个自我确定和宣誓。由于他身份的多元和人生过往的特殊性，读释他的作品必须要先解读其人、以及放在社会变迁的大语境中才更立体和准确。展览分为三个部分，第一部分“界”是通过文献体现他变幻多元的身份标签；第二部分“色界”是他早期学习艺术以及具体形构的艺术世界；第三部分“无界”是本次展览的重点，也是他正在自我蜕变、自我超越的阶段。他将以更为纯粹的艺术家身份来面对自己的心灵世界，面对社会的变革和转型，追寻与拓展无疆无域的精神空间。
从“界”到“色界”再到“无界”，卓福民选择抛弃个体与小我的束缚，去探寻万物与天地的大智慧，去接纳和感知天人合一的逍遥，从有形走向无形，由有限升华到无限，泯除物我的隔离，融合万物，这是他的艺术哲学，也是其对生命的感悟。
思无界，行无疆。本次展览是对卓福民的艺术历程的一次全面呈现。他的作品达到了内容、形式和理念的共生，焕发出独特的艺术魅力。
Zhuo Fumin's solo exhibition Boundlessness will be held at SGA from 17th October to 26th November 2023. The exhibition will present nearly forty important works by Zhuo Fumin spanning over forty years, and the artist's portion of the sale of the artworks will be donated to the Zhuo Ran Special Fund of the Shanghai Charity Foundation and other public welfare organisations.
Zhuo Fumin's artistic life is a legend and a typical case and epitome of China's changeable time, reflecting the decades of vicissitudes in Chinese society on reform and opening up, economic development and cultural prosperity.
The artist's paintings are full of majestic passion and vivid vitality. His artistic spirit and talent are embodied in the unrestrained splash of colours, the unleashing of language and the flow of chiaroscuro. Just like his undulating life, Zhuo Fumin’s paintings are sometimes vibrant and sometimes dignified. His unique perception and creation of painting is writing his new artistic life and becoming a new case study of the social landscape.
Zhuo Fumin has been practicing painting since he was a child. His formal and strict training has given him solid basic skills which enable him to navigate through the rules of modelling and colouring with ease. In the baptism of time, his life trajectory has changed again and again. He applies artistic thinking to his own career, completing a cross-border transformation which in turn provides rich materials and inspiration for his artistic creation. Eventually he is no longer bound by the limitations of traditional painting and gradually breaks down the boundaries of painting, so as to make his own artistic language more vivid and stereoscopic.
This exhibition mainly showcases the works created by Zhuo Fumin as an artist in recent years, and it is also a self-definition and oath of his artistic life. Due to the diversity of his identity and the specificity of his life's past, an accurate and stereoscopic reading of his works must be preceded by an interpretation of his person, as well as placed in the larger context of social change. The exhibition is divided into three parts: the first parts. Boundary ,the first part, is a reflection of his changing and diversified identity labels through documents. The second part Colour Boundary is retrospect of his early study of art which constitute his concrete forms. The third part No Boundary, the focus of this exhibition, is the stage of his self-transformation and self-transcendence. He will face the world of his mind as a more pure artist, face the change and transformation of society, and pursue and expand the spiritual space without boundaries and boundaries.
From "Boundary" to "Colour Boundary" to "No Boundary", Zhuo Fumin chooses to abandon the constraints of individuality, to explore the great wisdom of all things and heaven and earth, to accept and perceive the freedom of the unity of the heavens and mankind. To move from the tangible to the intangible, and to sublimate from the finite to the infinite, to obliterate the segregation of things from me and to merge with all things is his philosophy of art as well as his perceptions of life.
Thinking without boundaries, travelling without boundaries. This exhibition is a comprehensive presentation of Zhuo Fumin's artistic journey. His works achieve a symbiosis of content, form and concept, glowing with a unique artistic charm.
