站台中国当代艺术机构将于2024年4月12日推出黄亮个展《物之旷野》，展览将呈现其三年来的新近之作。
物之旷野——是对黄亮近年创作主题与精神性求索的描摹。在他的新作中，尘世里的物件传达出一种恒常持存的精神性。黄亮持续地锻造着物件之“形”，它们静静地立于空间中，化身向灵性深处自觉探寻的标记。“物”是画面里的主角，“旷野”则指向物存在的空间。沉静的旷野既是冥思的场域，亦为考验意志的艰苦之地。物之旷野，从寻常之物延展至遥远的旷野，从具体之物到情境与心相。微小的物、耐人琢磨的形、形与形相关联的情境共同构成一片精神的旷野。
本次展览是艺术家黄亮在站台中国的第四次个展，展览由王将担纲特邀评论，将持续至2024年5月12日。
Platform China Contemporary Art Institute will present the solo exhibition "The Wilderness of Being" by artist Huang Liang on April 12, 2024. The exhibition will showcase his recent works over the past three years.
"The Wilderness of Being" portrays Huang Liang's exploration of themes and spirituality in his recent creative endeavors. In his new works, everyday objects convey a timeless spirituality that persists in the mundane world. Huang Liang continuously shapes the form of these objects, which stand quietly in space, embodying marks of conscious exploration into the depths of spirituality. The objects take center stage in the artworks, while the wilderness points to the space in which these objects exist. The serene wilderness serves as both a field for contemplation and a challenging terrain for testing one's willpower. "Wilderness of Objects" extends from ordinary objects to distant wilderness, from concrete forms to situations and emotions. Small objects, thought-provoking forms, and interconnected situations collectively form a spiritual wilderness.
This exhibition marks Huang Liang's fourth solo exhibition at Platform China and will be accompanied by commentary from Wang Jiang. It will run until May 12, 2024.
