An art historian and curator who lives between São Paulo, Brazil and Berlin, Germany since 1989. She received her MA in Art History from the Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2015, she has served as associate curator at the Kunsthalle Rostock, Germany.
She has curated solo exhibitions of artists Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, Chiharu Shiota, Sigmar Polke, Yang Shaobin and Wang Chengyun in Europe, South America, the United States and Asia, as well as international group exhibitions on important social and cultural backgrounds. She is a co-curator of the 2nd Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale and has collaborated with the Havana Biennale since 1997. Since 2009, she is also co-curator of the International Biennale of Curitiba.
