An artist and writer living in New York, USA. He is currently the Chief Curator and Director of White Column Space, the oldest alternative art space in New York. Over the past 30 years, Higgs has curated more than 300 exhibitions in North America and Europe. He is a regular contributor to Artforum magazine and his articles have appeared in more than 50 books and exhibition catalogues.
