1994年出生于浙江金华，2018年本科毕业于天津美术学院，2021年研究生毕业于天津美术学院，现工作、生活于杭州。
沈原宇的作品是对图像的反叛，通过具有表义、图画二重性的文字符号拓展绘画的更多可能性。他的作品基于汉字的文化逻辑，对文字进行解构和抽象化。使得作品中的文字不再是一种阐释的工具，而是模糊了其识读特征进而拓展了表达的边界的特殊符号。通过文字符号的组合过程中植入视觉陷阱、弱化文本的逻辑关系后与观众对话，呼唤出观众的情感或行为反应并引发思考，进而进行观念的传达。
Born in Jinhua, Zhejiang in 1994, he graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 2018 and in 2021. He currently works and lives in Hangzhou.
Shen Yuanyu's works are a rebellion against images, expanding the possibilities of painting through text symbols with both semantic and pictorial duality. His works are based on the cultural logic of Chinese characters, deconstructing and abstracting the text. The text in the work is no longer a tool for interpretation, but a special symbol that blurs its reading characteristics and expands the boundaries of expression. Through the combination of text symbols, visual traps are implanted, the logical relationship of the text is weakened, and then the audience is communicated, calling out the audience's emotional or behavioral reactions and triggering thinking, and then conveying the concept.
