1984年生于中国山东青州，学士毕业于西安美术学院，硕士获得中国艺术研究院学位。杨新收的山水画风格兼融了西方水彩画的方式，恰到好处的将之与中国传统的笔墨做结合。他以泼墨的方式进行创作，先以墨、色、水三者交融后，再用细笔勾勒描绘出作品的完整面貌。其风格静谧幽雅，并将自然及哲思等母题以隐现的方式嵌入画面中，试图唤醒观者对世界本源的再识。
Born in 1984 in Qingzhou, Shandong, China. He graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a BA and received his MA from Chinese National Academy of Arts. His landscape painting style is a combination of Western watercolour painting and traditional Chinese ink and brushwork. He creates his paintings with ink splashes, mixing ink, color, and water before sketching the entire subject with fine brush strokes. His style is quiet and elegant, and he subtly incorporates natural and philosophical concepts into his paintings, seeking to restore the viewer's consciousness of the world's origins.
