1992年生于厦门，毕业于美国罗德岛设计学院，现旅居纽约与上海。
她的创作检视着个人与集体层面不可避免的沟通“失败”，也拷问着互为主体所创造出的“真实”。融合特定场域装置、临时雕塑、公共介入、艺术家书等媒介，郑亦然营造出新的行为规则邀请公众的互动。人的行为始终是她作品中重要的组成部分，尤其是群体之间、个体与集体之间、亲密或陌生的、交集或平行的“关系”。通过创作，她向艺术实践与日常生活之间的距离和重叠进行推敲，试图在当代艺术语境内外，拓展人们对所处社会和文化环境的综观。她希望以与个体联结的方式触及公众。
Born in Xiamen in 1992, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and now lives in New York and Shanghai.
Her creations examine the inevitable "failure" of communication at the individual and collective levels, and also question the "reality" created by mutual subjectivity. Integrating site-specific installations, temporary sculptures, public interventions, artist books and other media, Zheng Yiran creates new behavioral rules to invite public interaction. Human behavior has always been an important part of her work, especially the "relationships" between groups, individuals and collectives, intimate or unfamiliar, intersecting or parallel. Through her creations, she explores the distance and overlap between artistic practice and daily life, trying to expand people's overall view of the social and cultural environment in which they live within and outside the context of contemporary art. She hopes to reach the public by connecting with individuals.
